My Happy Day

My happy day is Children’s Day. On that day, I can wear beautiful clothes, just like a pretty doll. I can sing wonderful songs, eat delicious food. Here, I’m glad to tell you a funny story about me.

Last Children’s Day, I went to Xihui Park with my parents. There were many children in it. Some were flying kites, some were boating and the others were fishing. When my mother found me, I’ve got two goldfish. How great! But my mother was very worried about me. At that moment, I was so careless that I fell into the river. When I was saved, I was all wet.

  I was so excited that I will remember it forever!

My Favourite Holiday

My favourite holiday is Christmas Day. It’s on the 25^th of December. The day before Christmas eve is my birthday. So, I like Christmas Day very much.

Christmas Day is an important festival in most Western countries. They often have long holidays. Most people comes back to their homes. On Christmas Day, bells ring everywhere, the ringing bells tell people Christmas comes. People sing and dance, they often have a good time on that day.

Last Christmas Day, my father and mother bought a Christmas tree for me. I was very happy. Then, we put some presents in the tree here and there.

In most Western countries, people also put presents in children’s stockings. It is said that Father Christmas himself brings presents to children. He is a kind man and in red clothes. There si a big bag on his back.. He gives children presents when they are sleeping on the eve of Christmas. On Christmas Day, people also enjoy all kinds of food.

Christmas is an interesting holiday, isn’t it?

My Favourite Festival

Class Five  Grade Six  Zhou Baoping

   Spring Festival is the most festival in China. It is my favourite festival. At Spring Festival, each family cooks delicious food. Many people like to have dinner in good restaunts. Everyone tries to go home with their family.

   Last Spring Festival, I took train went to my grandparents’ house. That day ,I got up early and greeted everyone, then I played with my cousins. We went to a local park. Everything was nice. There were many big red lanterns. We played games and sang songs . We were very happy. Time flew quickly, the moon was rising, we went home. There were a lot of delicious food on the table. I liked them very much. I also got many toys, clothes and luck money.

After dinner, we watched TV. It was interesting. When the bell rang , New Year was coming. It was time for children to play fireworks. Red, yellow, green, pink and the other colours were in the sky! It was beautiful. I was very excited. When we felt hungry , we ate some dumplings.

 How happy we were! I’m waiting for this Spring Festival.

My Favourite Holiday

  Class Two  Grade Six  Hua Xiaolan

There are a lot of holidays in a year. They are all very popular. But my favourite holiday is Christmas Day. It’s in winter and it’s on the twenty—fifth of December. People usually spend the day with their family, give presents to each other and make Christmas cards.

Last Christmas Day, I spent time with my family and had a big lunch. After the big lunch, we gave presents to each other. We were very excited.

In the afternoon, I played with my best friends, Zhu Danting, Hua Xiaoyang and Wang Yan. We made some Christmas cards in my bedroom. We drew beautiful pictures and wrote good words. Then we gave our Christmas cards to each other. We were very happy.

There are a lot of holidays for Chinese people, such as National Day, May Day and ect. But my favourite holiday is Children’s Day. It’s on the first of June. That day, I don’t have much homework. I can play all the time. In the morning, I go to school and have a big party. At that party, we can play a lot of games and eat some delicious food. We all feel happy. At home , I can play with my friends. We can do lots of things. Play basketball, play computer games, watch TV… It’s very interesting. And the more important is I can receive many presents, such as beautiful clothes, delicious food and a lot of toys. So that day parents can realize all our wishes. Every year, I expect the Children’s Day would come soon. Do you like Children’s Day? I think so as all of you. Let’s enjoy every Children’s Day. It’s wonderful!

My Happy Day

Do you know my favourite holiday? It’s Halloween. Last Halloween is also my happy day. Because on that day, I went to a Halloween party!

 It was scary! We dressed up in costumes. I was a witch. Shirl was a lovely rabbit, and Kevin was a knight. They were all from different countries. They played games with me and my friends. It was fun!

My favourite game is the ‘Mask making race’. We must make a beautiful mask in five minutes. I made a nice mask. It was a pomp mask. Everybody loved my works. So, I get a certificate and a present, too. I was very excited. And so as my friends.We also played a lot of games: clamp the oranges, stick some pumpkins. They were very interesting! On that day, I learned many rite of Western countries. I was very happy! Halloween is really a nice festival.

Halloween is a holiday full of happiness and joy, isn’t it? I think I will never forget that day!

   Christmas is my favourite festival. It’s on the 25^th of December. People usually give presents to each other and make Christmas trees. There are a lot of small presents .It’s very beautiful!

My sister Wu Yanyu and I both like this festival very much. We had a good time last Christmas .We made many Christmas cards for our relatives and friends.

We made some presents last Christmas, too. My brother likes horses . so I made a present about horses for my brother.

I gave the present to my brother .He opened the small box. Suddenly ,the red horses skipped over the small box. My brother was very afraid. I said to him,‘Don’t afraid’! He felt happy !

I was very happy last Christmas.

My favourite festival is Spring Festival. It’s in January or February. At this festival people usually spend time with their family or friends. People usually visit relatives and friends. When talking with good friends. The never ,never ends.

My Happy Day

On the 25^th of July this year is my happy day. On that day, I went to Lianyungang. It’s a good place for visitors. In the morning, we went to Huaguo Hill. On the road, we met a monkey. It put its hands on its head and turned left and right. Oh, It was fun. We all laughed and gave some fruit to it. There were a lot of beautiful flowers and trees on the hill. I touched the flowers and climbed the trees. I bought a lot of apples and peaches, and tasted them.

In the afternoon, we went to a beach. I ran and jumped on the beach. It was wonderful. The sea was very wide and blue. I swam in the sea, the sea was so beautiful!

At night, we ate a big dinner. There were a lot of delicious food. Then we went back to Wuxi. I felt very happy that day. And I hope everyone can be happy every day.

There are a lot of popular holidays in China. They are National Day, May Day, New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid—Autumn Festival.

My favourite holiday is Spring Festival. It’s in January or February. People usually visit their relatives and friends, eat a lot of delicious food and fire fireworks. I visited my food friend Zhu Danting and ate a lot of delicious food last Spring Festival. In the afternoon, we went to Longting Park. In the park, we saw some nice flowers. After dinner, my sister Hua Xiaolan, my friend Zhu Danting and I fired fireworks. The fireworks are very nice. At half past eight, my family and I watched TV. At that day, we were all very happy!

This Spring Festival, I want to go shopping with my family. I like Spring Festival very much.

I’ve read lots of books about the moon, but I felt it was hard to describe the moon at that moment. How beautiful it was! That day, my family and I were very happy.    My favourite holiday is New Year’s Day. New Year’s Day is on the 1^st of January. A year’s begin. On tthat day ,we have a big lunch or dinner with our relatives , go to parties and play a lot of games.

   Last New Year’s Day, my mother got up early. She cooked a lot of delicious food for us. In the afternoon, my parents gave my sister and I a very beautiful and funny card and said ‘Happy New Year!’We were very happy. In the evening , I had a big dinner with my relatives and friends. We were all very excited.

Hi, boys and girls. My favourite holiday is Children’s Day. I had a party at school last Children’s Day. At the party, we dressed in costumes, sang and danced. Then we played a lot of games. It was fun! In the afternoon, I went to the park. I saw a lot of beautiful flowers and trees. There were some rabbits, monkeys and a lot of tigers in the zoo of the park.    My grandmother is a farmer. She lives in a small town. She works very hard. Near her house, there are a lot of fruit trees. They are planted by my grandfather. He planted pear trees, orange trees and pear trees.

   Lat summer holiday, I went to An Qing to visit my grandparents. My grandma was very happy see to me. She cooked a lot of delicious food for me. I liked them very much.

   In the afternoon, I climbed pear trees with my sister. We picked a lot of pears. Then we played on the swing in the tree. On the swings we tasted pears .That was fun! At four o’clock, we worked on the farm. I collected eggs and ate them. My sister wanted to pull up some carrots, but she was very fat, she didn’t pull them up.

   In the evening ,my cousin and I gave presents to each other. We all liked them. At eight o’clock, we had a big supper.

   That day, we were all very happy!

Children’s Day is my favourite festival. On Children’s Day, we get very excited. We usually sing and dance, have a party at school.

We play a lot of games and have a big lunch. Last Children’s Day, I played with my friends . My mother cooked lots of good food for me. I was very happy. On Children’s Day ,boys play with yo-yos, girls spend the day with their family. I often play ‘Bingo’ with my friends . We make ‘Happy Children’s Day’ card as a Children’s Day present to our good friends ,too. I love Children’s Day.

It’s was very fun. When we are playing a lot of games, the fun never ends!
